Onera is a bespoke glamping development with a different type of unit for every taste. Four “soft-sided” structures include a safari tent, bushtek tent, geodesic dome, and a tent called the cocoon. The four “hard-sided” structures are two container homes with rooftop decks and two treehouses, the Spyglass and Monarch. Designed and built by Artistree, Onera Fredericksburg was created to be the Hill Country’s premier glamping site with eight units to choose from.
Acquired via a 90% joint-venture stake by publicly traded Summit Hotel Properties in 2022 — their first standalone glamping investment. Achieving a $1,500–$2,500 ADR.
