With this identity at its core, the house was designed around an outdoor living space to bring everyone closer together while they enjoy the continually comfortable Hawaiian weather. Dwelling at Ohana House is an elegant way to become immersed in nature and bring people together. With inspiration from Japanese minimalism, this tiny home incorporates simple earthy colors and natural wooden hues. Resting on an existing lava flow which resembles a large volcanic boulder, Ohana House remains open to allow the wind to naturally sweep through its corridors.
